Product Description
Standard Ceramic Geometric Packaging consists of many packing units of similar geometric design. Corrugated sheets placed in parallel form cylindrical units called corrugated packing. These are a form of highly efficient packaging with separating efficiency several times higher than that of loose packaging. They have the quality of low-pressure drop, increased operating elasticity, minimum amplifying effect, and maximum liquid treatment compared to loose packing. They are called Kelapak packing overseas. In order to meet various applications and comply with instructions by the Ministry of Chemical Industry, we have realized the designation of corrugated packing series by undertaking development with research institutes and colleges. Data for our products follows:

X and Y stand for the corrugation dip of 30 and 45 respectively; the Arabic numerals stand for the specific area of their series.

1.450y (SULZER BX TYPE)

This type of corrugated packing was designed by the Swiss Sulzer Company, and has design similar to Sulzer products.

Pressure drop of each theoretical sheet is 0.3-1mbar

Fining process of corrosive mixtures, which have strict requirements for pressure drop and number of theoretical sheets.

Product Features
This ceramic corrugated packing is a new type of structured packing. It has many advantages, such as large throughput, little obstruction, high efficiency, high operating elasticity and undistinguished magnification. It is also resistant to corrosion and high temperatures (above 1000oc).This product is particularly suitable for the separating process of high-temperature media and corrosive media. Its operating pressure is between 0.1kpa and 500kpa, ensuring a sound effect
Note: Other specifications are 125X, 125Y, 250X, 250Y, 350X, 350Y, etc.
Applications
Rectifying organic halide.

Rectifying and absorbing some corrosive mixtures, which are definitely regulated in pressure drop and theoretic plate number.

Applied in some towers that contain a large quantity of natural media used to absorb nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid, as well as for purifying the air in chemical plants.

Operating in vacuum conditions at a bottom absolute pressure of 100pa.

Used in heat exchanger and demisting, or as a catalyst carrier.

This type of packaging is called SK corrugated sheet packing. It was developed by the Shanghai Research Institute, which has conducted product research and development assigned by the Ministry of Chemical Industry. It was appraised by the Ministry in October 1989 and received a 'State New Product' award in 1990.

This type of packaging is called TCP-1Corrugated Sheet Packing. It was developed by the Chemistry Department of Tianjin University and received a 'State New Product' award in 1989.

4.250Y
This type of packing has similar structural parameters as Mellapck, the Swiss Sulgie packing. The product offers the advantages of ideal specific area, satisfactory void space and large capacity area. They are widely recognized as the most advanced product and widely used in process of fining and distillation.

Advantages:
Theoretical packing number 2.7-2.3
Theoretical pressure drop of each packing is about 0.4-3mbar.
These products provide 50% greater treating capacity than normal packing.
Applications:

Vacuum process needing high-vacuum conditions.

Packing of medium and aqueous solution of good moist property.

Inside packing for fiber glass tower reinforcement, enamel tower and anti-corrosion lining tower.



5.140Y140X(Sulzer BX Type)
This type of packing was developed by the Swiss Sulzer Company and is produced by our company based on the Sulgie design. This product has the advantage of low specific area, high void space, and good acid and corrosion resistance. The increasing sulfur content in crude oil both at home and abroad makes it urgent to develop new packing to take place of ordinary packing, because ordinary packing have poor corrosion-resistance in strong acids at high temperatures up to 300.140Y and 140X packing solves problems facing the oil industry today.
